Office of the Secretary/Treasurer

The corporate secretary keeps the minutes of the Nevada-Utah Conference executive committee meetings, collects data and information, and makes such reports as may be required.  The secretary also serves as vice-chairperson of the executive committee.

The treasurer is the chief financial officer of the Nevada-Utah Conference.  In this capacity, he is responsible for safeguarding all monies received by the Conference and disbursing them in harmony with policies voted by the Executive Committee.  The treasurer maintains accurate and comprehensive accounting of church funds, prepares the annual budget, and presents accurate reports on a timely basis.  He also coordinates the financial activities between the Conference and its associated churches and schools. 

The treasurer is supported by the treasury staff (see Treasury Department) whose responsibilities include receipting, accounts payable, general accounting, investment oversight, financial statement preparation, secretarial support, and church and school auditing and accounting support.
